Trainings: These gatherings feature practical issue based and field-based skills development with some of the best skill-builders available.

Salons: In order to sharpen the group’s thinking about the intersections and implications of resistance and healing, thoughtful cross-sector practitioners kick off salon conversations with a particular topic and then open it up to the rest of the group.

Convenings: While many connections will be made informally throughout the event, we have scheduled convenings to provide formal spaces for affinity groups to network and engage in movement building. During these convenings, participants will engage in dialogue that leads to common commitments or coordinated action; connect with leaders in a particular sector or field of interest; and identify challenges, map assets, and develop action plans.
Convenings will tackle key questions confronting different parts of the movement, including: What are the core challenges or needs among your justice stream? What are the assets and connections around the room? What can our organizations bring to this work? What can we do as individuals?”
