This special luncheon will highlight “Lawyers and Collars,” a new initiative pairing faith leaders with election protection lawyers to protect the votes of vulnerable citizens. The National African American Clergy Network, Sojourners, and their partners will equip lawyers to take immediate legal action when individuals are refused the right to vote, and faith leaders—who are among the most trusted leaders in vulnerable communities—to stand with election protection lawyers at the polls.
