We find ourselves in one of the most anti-immigrant moments in recent U.S. history, which was fueled by rhetoric during the recent the election cycle and is now being translated into policy: families are being torn apart by the current immigration system; arrests and deportations of law-abiding immigrants are on the rise. Yet faith communities are setting up networks of support to offer love, welcome, assistance, and resistance to block and obstruct mass deportations. Join this strategy session with faith leaders and advocates who are offering support to undocumented immigrants threatened with mass deportation and are advocating for a more humane, comprehensive immigration reform.
