My roots are in California; my wings in D.C. I'm a Catholic feminist. I'm a student of nonviolence--strategic and Christian--and part of the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative. I live in the Anacostia watershed in D.C. I've been at Sojourners for more than 30 years. I'm a poet and writer. I read primarily fiction. I'm a Bible-geek and a dog-lover. I keep a 100-square foot permaculture garden in the inner city. I've got a book out called Who Killed Donte Manning? that's a liturgical walk through Columbia Heights in D.C.
